Description

The rust fungus Puccinia piloselloidearum affects only Mouse-ear-hawkweed (Pilosella) species.  Small brown uredinia and telia are produced on the upper leaf-surfaces.  It is listed as a gall-causer in Redfern & Shirley (2023).
